ISSUES WORTH FIGHTING FOR
A Bastion Of Underperformance
Baroda Cricket has produced some of the finest players in India's cricket history. However, recently, Baroda has not had any success in any of the BCCI tournaments. Teams at U16, U19, U23 and Ranji have all failed miserably.
Our coaching and fitness standards have drastically gone down and our poor selection methods have ensured that talented cricketers won't get a fighting chance of making it to the center stage.

The future of Baroda Cricket looks bleak and desperate.

How did things get so bad?
Where Is The Stadium?
Baroda has one of the longest histories when it comes to cricket. We have always been known as a great promoter of the sport. We love watching cricket on the grounds, cheering our teams and showing our passion for the sport.
However, we don't have our own cricket stadium where we can proudly host international or IPL matches. We have heard for decades about location names, crores of rupees getting exchanged and formalities being worked out.

there is still no clarity on when we will actually get our own stadium.

What has been going on these past years?
Rampant Corruption & Favoritism
BCA has become a bastion for corruption and lack of accountability. Key BCCI mandates are disregarded, key decisions keep getting deferred for years, key talents go unnoticed.

It is very common to hear these kind of statements,

"You get paid very well and have to do very little for it"
"The only way you can get anything done in BCA is if you know someone in the inside"
"You need a Godfather in BCA to make it to the team selections"

BCA has become a synonym for bureaucracy, nepotism and favoritism. How did the culture in BCA become so poor?
